Floof explores a busy day in the life of a very floofy cat. Floof eats, Floof naps, Floof plays. Pet owners will recognise the humour in the contrast between the words and the images, such as Floof having important work to do (sitting on a keyboard), helping in the garden (napping in a hanging pot) and making friends with the house’s mouse population.
With a simple premise and text, this story is best suited to the very young, and would be a great choice for a Kindy read-aloud. Floof is an adorable furball and the bright images will appeal to cat lovers in particular. Ending with Floof’s bedtime makes this story a great choice for winding down before bed.
