I get tired of books with the themes A to Z. So many are dull, expected, generic. But NOT Once Upon an A to Z. This delightful, joyous, exuberant book, entices children into the ALPHABET MAGIC hidden inside: –
High on a shelf, deep in a nook,
adventure waiting within this old book.
The words and illustrations explode off the page, enticing children to adventure into imaginative play. The colours burst throughout the book inviting them into the stories. The swirling placement of the words adds energy to the hijinks of the illustrations. There is just so much to explore. Within the pages Aladdin and his lamp, unicorns, vampires, queenly quests are all imagined with the three children playing, dancing, even swimming with a giant octopus. It is a feast of words and art. Children will definitely find their ‘HAPPY EVER AFTER’ in this picture book of wonder.
Suitable for ages 3 to 8.
