A worthy addition to the plethora of titles on the 150th anniversary of the enduring adventures of Alice, this book has everything to engage a new reader. The double page illustrations are supremely powerful with more than a nod to the earliest works and a strong influence of the animators craft in evidence. The colours are simply stunning and the variations of font a joy, making the reading a simple but cerebral experience. Endpapers neatly contain a classic that can be reread many times by young and old. Crossing the river of tears is a particular favourite of the younger readers in this family. Highly Recommened.
